Australia’s Aging Population

In an effort to further develop my Tableau skills I saw a data visualization by Pew Research and decided to try and do the same visualization using Australia’s population data. I downloaded the data from the Australia Bureau of Statistics website. The data wasn’t in a format I could use in Tableau so I used SAS to reformat it.
I designed the visualization to be animated running from 1971 to 2066. Unfortunately, when published on Tableau Public the animation is removed. Using Active Presenter I created this video.
